Default VPC with IS motor

Can any of you IS guys confirm that the HKS VPC (with a GCC or S-AFC) will work in a '99 SC3 (ya know, VVT-i motor, same as IS3) ? If so, will I only need an O2 simulator when I do the dp? Otherwise it's the same as a non-VVT-i 2JZ setup-wise? Thx...

Not too sure if driveability will be great with just an AFC, i'd like to try, but i'm looking for around 450-470 rwhp on pump gas, so with 550's it's no problem, but maybe an e-Manage, trying to avoid doing a Haltech but I have a feeling that I may end up going that route, wonder if I can get there with just that S-AFC and the oe frequency-type MAF, bullish and SP seem to feel it's possible....
