Default bad relay killed my battery?

so the other day i went outside and noticed that my is300 was making this ticking sound. i went inside and tried to start the vehicle but the battery was extremely weak so i then i had to jump start the car. i drove it around to recharge the battery via the alternator. when i got back home and parked the car i noticed it was still ticking. i went in the engine bay to investigate the source and the sound was coming from the relay box nearest to the battery.

i tapped on the black relays and the sound went away. but i assume it came back later that night because the battery is completely dead now. has anyone else had this issue with a fault relay?
