is it true that Lexus will be offering a IS coupe model is 2004? I saw in motor trend magizine that this model will be coming out soon. The IS 430 will offer a 4.3L V8 engine offering more than 300 horsepower

 

Vicious rumors. I'll believe it when I see it on the Lexus lot.

The 330 is a safe bet since they'll be dropping that engine into everything in sight.

Coupe and V8 version...We'll see...

 

is330 for sure coz' they will put in v6 and ditch the i6. is430... if it comes out i will believe it. it's hard to tell now coz' lexus will ONLY do it if there is enough hype about it. but then the performance won't be great anyway. you don't want to spend 50k to get the is300 that's only as fast as the gs430 and far from the m3 and c32.

and yes, most likely coupe and convertible

 

i was at tustin lexus today for the RX330 preview.. i dunno how reliable their sources are but before the end of the year, the IS will change to the IS330 with the v6 engine. and also before the redesign, there is supposed to be a coupe and convertible offered as well which also could be available before the end of the year

 

they are half right. by the end of the year very likely is330 will come out. aristo with 330 v6 is appearing in japan this fall already so.... but couple convertible, they won't appear until the new design i think?

 

ill kill for that car if they bring out a coupe and an 8 cylinder iS430...... i love manuals and i hate 4 door cars i made an exception for my gs cuz i just love the car itself......ive heard rumors as high as 400 hp but you know how people talk..... if it is though then ill def. get the car cuz im thinkin of gett the new 03' 395hp Mustang Cobra. but im not a fan of domestics. gotta love the power of the clutch though.....

a coupe model would be nice, but i'll believe it. but I wouldn't be surprised, it seems like lexus is
doing things to change the IS withg the new sport design. I test drove that the other day, pretty nice. I found an offer online where it said I would get a free subscription to media week magazine, here's the link just in case
