so im new to the lexus game i still havent bought one but is their anything i should know before i go out and buy one what are some common issues with the car?

If the car has more than 100k miles, ask to see if they had the water pump and timing belt replaced.

Also, the coolant reservoir tank is made of plastic and likes to leak. but those are easily replaceable.

If newer than 2001, don't be freaked out if the dash is nasty. most IS300s 02+ have bad dashboards. But that is also easy to fix. Hope you find one you like. Ive had 2 so far and they are amazing cars!
