I own a 02 is300, and I'm having the hardest time finding a set of rims that are 17's that'll clear my brake caliper without using wheel spacers. The last set of rims I bought, and I'm returning, will not clear the caliper.

I'm wanting to stay at 17's because I don't have plans on getting a taller tire. Can anyone here suggest a wheel that has a similar pattern that'll fit our ride?

 

Almost all wheels will clear the caliper on an IS, we have relatively small brakes...

I'm surprised they don't clear to be honest... Might try checking wheel sites like tire rack and seeing fitments there... They know for sure...

 

U may want to try a wheel with a lower offset and a higher disk.

 

40mm offset is already 10-15 me lower than stock...

On the right track with the disk issue...

 

I should be looking for something with an offset of 35?
Coming from my Integra the is300 brake calipers are huge!

 

Anywhere from 35-50, depending on wheel width and how far you want it to stick out, if at all...
