So I considering a 1uz swap for my IS. Can any one tell me if the motor is a direct drop in and whats needed for the swap. Like harness, ecu, lines, hoses and etc.....By theway ,my IS300 has a manual trans.Or does anyone know if theres a writeup with details steps on the swap.

Haha, I just bought my IS last Thursday to be my daily. All I've done since buying it is look at mods for it, when I should be planning mods for my project car. (E36 M) I'm really curious abt this swap too. I've found some info by just googling it. Unfortunately not as much info as I'd like. Anyway, when I get back to my computer I'll post some of the links I've found. So far it looks like it bolts right in, with the relocation of some things. ABS, and power steering pump. Wiring looks like it could have some issues too. From what I'm seeing though it looks like a fairly easy swap.
