I know this is a long shot but, I have a set of winter wheels and tires from a subaru that I want to use on an IS300. Is this possible or should I find some different wheels to mount the winter tires on? The tires are 205/55-16 Artic Claws.

what year is your WRX? isn't the bolt pattern 5x100?

 

They are from a 2002 and it is 5x100.

 

only way its gonna work is with 5x100 to 5x114.3 adapters

i believe H&R makes some adapters.

They might be a pretty penny though. I would sell the stock ones and pick up some OEM stock Lexus ones for winter.

 

Ok. I thought so but, just wanted to check. I had read somewhere you could use Rav4 wheels on the IS300. Is that true?

 

yes, rav4 is a 5x114.3 bolt pattern, just like your IS300

 

Find some 16" wheels that will fit with the right bolt pattern and you'll be fine using those tires. Their overall diameter is fine for the IS.
