Finally gave my 190k turd some TLC
Some quick driveway snapshots of my 190,000 mile hooptie. I've had it for over three years but it's only been the past month since I've done any mods or really put some time into cleaning it up properly.
I've had a lot of "nicer" cars over the years that I've loved, but this one has definitely become my favorite daily driver I've ever owned. I know stanced is the way everyone goes these days but I feel like that's not really my style (aka: I feel old). Haha. I basically wanted it to look like what a factory E46 BMW M3 would look like if it were an IS300. Classy and clean with the right edge of sporty. I hope I've hit the mark.
The only things I'm thinking of doing from here are getting the lip painted and the front bumper and hood resprayed (rock chips have not been kind to this car in it's 190,00 miles). Otherwise I just plan on keeping it clean, in tip top maintenance and enjoy driving it for another few years. I think 250,000+ miles should be doable.
I'll have to do some location scouting and bust out the polarizer, lights and lightstands to do a more proper shoot sometime soon. For now these photos will have to do.
And yes, it has a hitch. It's a Curt euro-mount hitch that tucks up pretty cleanly. It's for my hitch-mount bike rack. I have a road bike but I'm not really a roof rack kind of guy. This is a little more subtle.

Stylin. Mine looked almost exactly like it (only a little lower ) Nice to see the car in such great condition. 250+ is totally do-able. Worst case, an engine is only ~$2,000. I am happy for you!

I mean descent because it is not super low with a big *** exhaust, wild wheels etc.. Just looking nice and good to the eyeball when looking it over

Thanks guys. Really appreciate it. Only thing that has changes has been that I anthricite metallic PlastiDipped the front lip for the time being to protect it (it's half a shade lighter than GGP so it'll be getting painted along with the hood and front bumper respray in a few weeks, but works for now) and I added a small M3-style trunk lip spoiler. It's so subtle that I barely notice it half the time but does a great job of being just enough to kind of set the rear of the car off a little bit. Once I get the front bumper and hood resprayed I'll do a proper shoot on it and post some more photos.
