Default Buying an is300 REALLY SOON!

INTRODUCTION! AVOID IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ IT
\/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/

Hello CL! My name is Chris, I'm introducing myself because I KNOW FOR A FACT, that you will see me a lot. I have been in love with the IS300 for quite some time, and I am so pumped to get one. Now keep in mind, I'm 19 years old, i'm making crap money now, but I also don't have a license (not that I don't want one, I have some paperwork going through the government right now, so the second I can get a license, believe me, I will!) Now these papers will be complete in about 3-4 months, which is when I'll be looking for my IS300!

INTRO

OK so I Live in Queens NY, and I also have a car "group" on Instagram and Facebook, and the group is getting bigger and better, (5.4K followers on Instagram, only about 200 likes on Facebook)
And I'll be looking for a Lexus IS300 within about 3-4 months, I only said what I said about the group, because I wanted to let you know that I will be customizing the car. And I do want the car to last as long as possible, because I won't be getting another for a while.

My main purpose being here, is to ask, how much have you spent on your IS300? What have you done to it? How much did you pay when you first got it?

Another thing, Anybody selling one? =D

Thanks guys!

I just got mines 2 days ago for 9k, but super clean. Make sure you check carfax or autocheck before getting one.

Between the 2 IS300s I owned, over $50K total. Both were bought brand new.
Never thought my IS would be cheap to own, but now that I had it for 10 years, it is very light on the wallet, all things considered.
It all comes down to how much money you want to spend and if you want a manual or an auto. Manuals are very rare, so it takes a long time to find a decent one. Again, depends on the price. If someone made me a high enough offer, I would consider selling mine.

I spent about 6k to get my 01 is300 @ 160k miles

and spent an additional 1.3k on led, intake, exhaust, header

Also im about to dump some money about 6-10k on a 2jz-gte motor swap once i feel like the stock engine is crapping up
