Try it and see what happens lol. If something goes wrong, just re-connect it.

This mod is as old as IS300. Unplug the resistor and loose DRLs, simple as that.

No you do not lose your highbeams. If you take out either of the DRL fuses you lose the DRL and the highbeam. The plug in the pic is simply for the resistor and a heatsink that attenuate the voltage for the DRL, has nothing to do with the highbeams.
