Cool Will it blend? That is the question!

Ok all seriousness, I acquired an '01 IS300 and currently have the stock wheels lowered on Tein Springs with other exterior mods. Now I have some classic wheels in my possession never seen on an IS that I would like to put on after I roll the fenders next week and was curious as to fitment.

Wheels are 17 x 8 +40 in front, rears are 17 x 9 +52. Fronts have 245's and rears 275's.

Will it clear or any recommendations for tire sizes to ensure the perfect fit? I might be pushing the limits with this aggressive fitment fore mentioned, but I do have a set of new 235's at my disposal if needed. Did some research already and was not able to find a solid answer.

Thank guys!

I've test fitted the OEM Supra TT rears on the IS with 255/40s and those fit. With those tires, I'd go for a fender roll all around

Thank you! That was another question I was looking to get answered. I have a set of MKIV TT 17" wheels too and was at one point thinking of putting them on. Only found one IS with them and it was drag racing. Haven't seen another with them and was curious what tire sizes fit with that too!

yw. the MKIV TTs have similiar sizings to those that you want to put on. Great set to DD on if you ask me. I think I test fitted 225/40s in front and 255/40s rear. I dont recall how much we rolled the fenders or even if they were rolled at all.

it seems stock IS fitment is close to stock MKIV Supra fitment. I would love to see pictures of these wheels once you get them on.

Well it turned out a PERFECT fit! Barely cleared the calipers and sits pretty damn flush after some fender cutting. No spacers needed. My girlfriends daily driver!!!

Panasport G7 C5C 17x8 17x9 215/45's and 235/45's
