Default Please help me!!

Hi Everyone,

Im new here. This will be my first winter in the is350. I have looked everyone i possibly could and called many shops for this answer and everyone seems to tell me a different thing.....
What im dying to find it is, CAN YOU RUN A SQUARE SETUP FOR TIRES ON THIS CAR?!

I have heard you can do 215/50/17 on all 4 and then ive heard you must do 225/45/17. i actually had another shop tell me if your dropping to 17 from 18 then 205/45/15 is the way to go!

can please someone? anyone? shed some light on this topic? is one better then the other? does it throw of your traction control? i have also heard you must keep the tries staggered and dont run a square setup. it can cause transmission issues down the road?!? At this point im lost. i have been in talks with the dealers, tirerack, oktire, simplytire. and everyone has told me something different. Any info you can give me will be greatly appreciated. thanks again

you can't run the same tire size all around on a 350, it will disable traction control, stability control and ABS, or at least make them not work properly, and in the winter, traction control / stability control are imperative on a 350...

your car is not AWD... if it was, then the transmission is an issue, but only for staggered setups... so, IS350 and 250 RWD = staggered, AWD = all the same...

You can run 17's... the 17" staggered setup off the 250's would work fine... those specs can be found on TireRack...

So your saying strickly stay with the staggered setup and just use the suggested 225/45-17,
245/45-17?

if thats the cause you can only rotata side to side, not front to back is that right? and doesnt the tire have to be a certain way or tread?
