this only happens SOMETIMES:

i start my car up and there are no lights indicating that the engine starts running. it is just quiet. after waiting a few minutes, my car works again.

this started happening ever since i installed a double-din car stereo. and PLEASE do not say "take the car stereo out" because a lot of people have after-market car stereos.

 

No, if you didn't have this problem before the radio, then it is probably related to how it was installed. Take the radio out, and see if the problem persists. If the problem goes away then you might want to check your wiring...

That is part of the troubleshooting process... if you don't want to take the first simple steps, then take your car to a professional shop that can diagnose your problem.
