I'm wondering if the 1IS and the 2GS share a similar rear upper control arm.

The parts look somewhat identical in photos but I dont have an IS to compare with.

If anyone knows the measurements or if the arms are completely different, please let me know.

Also, if you have a spare one laying around I would like to purchase this if possible.

(also, i know they aren't the same numbers, but I do know that the SC and GS share a common rear upper control arm, though different part numbers)

 

I know this thread is a bit old but I'm wondering the same thing myself. I've hear some members here use the 2GS upper arms on the 1IS and I'm actually thinking of buying an adjustable rear upper arm for my 2GS but the ones I'm looking at are designed for the 1IS. Any help would be appreciated.

 

I looked on sewell and they have the same part numbers. The only difference is the 2GS is the upper control arms are very expensive I think a $400 difference. They are also aluminum.. the is300's rear upper control arms are steel.

 

Hmmm I'm not sure which page you're looking at but from what I can see on Sewell they are definitely different part number. Only the first five of the part number are the same which I assume says what the part is and the next five for what car its for.
