Dual Exhaust
i have a 02 IS300 and i really want to put a dual exhaust but do i need to do any speacial mods in order to put one on?

i'm sure it can be done but i would worry about having enough back pressure

I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but I think somebody cut through the spare tire compartment to make room.

special mods? yeah you'll need a custom exhaust. most exhaust shops should be able to make one for you. but its really useless. the IS has a inline 6 motor. a true dual exhaust is for V shaped motors.

Yea its personal preference but Like baadhabit said it would have to be custom made which usually isn't too expensive. If your going turbo in the future dont waist your time

You don't have to worry about back pressure as long as you make the diameter of the piping smaller after you Y the exhaust

The GS has dual exhaust. They both share the same motor. So it doesn't have to be a V6 to have dual exhaust.
