Quote: damn thats nice, im jealous if your getting them stepped
im not sure if i should spend the money to go step lip on my vsxx or powder coat first..

but im going to be looking out for when you post it up
Most places that rebarrel also powder coat. I'm going with memoryfab and it's going to cost about 1900! But they are the only people that said they use forged aluminum lips. I will also be getting mine powder coated but am not sure on what color. I really like gold mesh wheels but I don't think the gold will look as good. I think I'll just stick with silver since it's a pretty classic color.

Memoryfab is located in Cali. I'm actually going with Wheelflip, I don't know why I said memoryfab. But wheelflip is also located in Cali. There are like 4-5 companies in the LA area that do rebarreling.

No, the middle wasn't secured. Do you do like 3m tape or something?

Yeah man, that's your problem. I didn't secure my middle and once you reach a decent amount of speed, the middle gets forced downward, drags, and rips off. Secure it with some 3m double sided tape and you should be golden

@Juic, are those aftermarket or did you get those dipped?

They are OEM actually, it was an option that most IS buyers didn't get. I traded a guy a set of regular ones for them.

Yesterday i got Megan Headers and downpipe along with Tanabe Concept G exhaust installed. got a leak cause of fitment issues with the Megan pipe and tanabe pipe, also CEL. I will be looking to fix this soon. Other than that I am waiting on my Work Wheels and putting in tanabe coilovers once i get them.

Yeah I've been looking for them for a while. Lexus wants like 500 bucks for all 4 brand new, so I posted a WTB and someone luckily wanted to trade. I just received some goodies from Figs:

Omg thanks so much for the tip!! Every time I was going 80+ that's how mine would rip off.
I was really not sure what to do after wasting $200
