I know a guy with them. He likes them a lot, I'd say they're comparable to D2 or Megans, the ride is quality is good and he's low. I don't know how the spring rates compare to the teins, but I believe they're both rebuilt in the US. The Ksports have a larger dampening range compared to the teins. It's up to you, it can be pretty tough to turn down a good deal.
Here's a review based on the Ksports v. Tein Basics:

Ksports and D2 are made by the same parent company. They are basically the same coilovers, just different colors. As for Megan, from what I've read, they are made from aluminum and constant bumps ect mashes up some of the parts to where the coilover is completely screwed :shrugs:

+1 on this. I know the OP is asking about the k-sport but I think for something like suspensions it's worth while to save a little more to do it right the first time. It's a hassle changing suspensions (3-4 hrs with experience) and getting alignment.

Stance GR has its own problems with bushing. If you don't mind hearing knocking every time you go over a bump then it's perfect for you. Until they fix that issue I cannot recommend them to someone. I think for a set of coils that is priced over $1300 it should not be having bushing problems.
