Default 1uZFe worth it?

I was wondering if it was worth it to swap in a lexus v8? I think it would make the car a little more fun when I want it to but still be tame for normal driving...?

this would be on a daily so I wouldn't have to much done to it and I would like to make it B.A.R Legal

never seen a sc400 motor in an IS. I would think there would be alot of work involved, relocating motor mounts and stuff. I have seen some with 350's though... but if your just looking for more power go NA-T or just a GTE swap

youre the only one who could say whether its "worth" it. worth is relative. cmon

do you have the funds? do you have easy access to the motor? do you know how do to this swap, or close to somebody who does? what condition is your stock motor?

I haven't begun looking yet..I guess I was just really wondering if the performance gain would be enough to warrant the cost of the swap....as far as doing the swap myself no..I have a lot to learn about working on 1:1's. I tried finding info on this swap but I only found 1 post which was actually a pretty good one(guy swapped it into a 02' Sportcross

that is correct.cali is super strict..and I don't wanna have to go under the table during smog time...it's much easier to just have the car legit, and besides I figured if I were going to actually do a swap I'd want something a little different than the norm ya know..but don't get me wrong I know the GTE is a beast of an engine and the stock block can handle a lot of hp.

i was just gonna say that. Millen made one. its not completely unique. now shoe horning a 5.7 litre motor from the tundra. that would be something.
