Someone broke into my IS300 Sportcross a few days ago. One of the things they did was break the lock on the glove box. The glove box was locked and they tried to pry it open but it did not open and I guess after a lot of attempts (i see a lot of scratches around there and on the dash) they left it.
I got the dealer to open the glove box but now I need to get it fixed. The dealer quoted around $750 dollars to fix it. I was wondering what other possible options do I have apart from the dealer to get this fixed and fixed well. Anyone in the Seattle area have any recommendations please do share.

 

ummm. a cheaper way i can think of is replace it with one off of a wrecked car and have a copy of the key made. sounds corny but way cheaper
