Can find them occasionally on my.is or clublexus classifieds when people part out their cars.. Usually people want around $60 shipped for the piece, which isn't bad compared to the price you were quoted.

Painted and BNIB from Toyota $60.60 each + shipping. Click on roof molding, and then click on the desired color. If you want to call them, their number is 512-707-5560. They are kinda slow to respond to email, so calling them is the best option if you want a quick answer.

I just discovered that my roof molding is not tightly secured either. It is peeling off on the driver's side molding, my passenger's side seems fine. My questions are:
will a body shop use glue (or epoxy)?
What did the factory use?
I just dont want to ruin the paint... but i dont want it stolen or water in my trunk either.

Oh shiiiiiit it's a little cheaper for 2001....

Some 2001 paint code (white for example) is different so make sure you double check whatever color you have.......
If you have a 2002+ and you have the same paint as a 2001 might as well try to save a couple dollars and put it towards shipping cost...

Loctite extreme conditions (I've actually glued a broken lexus key back together with it.) It becomes a removeable rubber type compound after curing for a while so if you ever had to remove it, it wouldn't be that hard, but the hold itself is amazing!
