Thanks for the info. I will have to do some further research to see what the 04 improvements were and if they are worth it.

Seat heaters and moonroof-not an issue for me.

Though memory seat is something I really prefer.

I have to learn more about if they were stand alone options--or if there models that had option packages.

Thanks

You can try cars.com and the research tab, then specs.

Yes there were bundles. sunroof was bundled with Leather/ Alcantra ?SP and memory seats as on my car.

I believe the best explanation I saw was on the Lexus owners site by yr.
Normally i cut and paste this stuff for future reference but didn't. might go get it and post.

Yeah, Elise SC. Had an Espirit V8-which caught on fire.

67 E Type is gorgeous!

I appreciate your help. I located a 2001 Locally. However, like you said CD doesn't work, otherwise all maintenance done-original owner.

Are the CD fixable?

No they don't seem to be fixable, need a new one, one from 2004 on in wrecker yard or an after market !!!

Make sure you get the keys that came with the car, 2 master remotes, wallet, and valet.

Make sure the leveling headlights work !!

Make sure there is a full size spare under the plastic cover !!!

Service records that show plug changes

and timing belt and water pump change....otherwise you get stuck not knowing whether this expensive service has been done on an interference engine !!!

1) How do you check the headlights?

2) Yeah this is a one owner-t belt/water pump done.

I have leads on 2 cars. Both same color, and very similar mileage. One is 30 miles from me, and one is 450 miles.

Will keep you posted.

Well on mine the warning light was off and i didn't know about this, so mine was fubared.

Turn on car

have someone turn on the headlight,
the HID's will ignite and waggle up and down through an initiation cycle.

One had a bad title--and the other had massive oil leak on the PPI. So search continues.

That is a nice one you linked--but CF hood...hmm...might have had other mods?

I found my IS300 SportX at a auction lucky me I purchased mine for around $7500 with tax and title and all. Been driving it for about a year now. Very smooth engine I must add, I got it with 86,000 miles and now i have around 114k been keeping maintenence on it, and got into a few mishaps but I still love it. Very good, daily driver but a bit thirsty. It doesn't function well as a car to tow folks around though haha
