Great pics of IS300's, my car is not worthy enough yet, but here is a few pics of one of the most famous IS's- the IS430.

makes total "cent$" though. i dont even see a point of it. its only a 430 V8. its heavier and doesnt even boost that much power. maybe a 1.5 second gain. they should have kept it a 6 cyl with a factor supercharged supra 6spd. id choose that over any stock vvti.

****! Ya I meant to say twins!

Although I'd prefer a supercharger over turbo anyday. Less hassle, more reliability, if done correctly!

Yes, no doubt, swapping in the supra engine would have made it faster, but that is not the point of the IS430, it had a few purposes, first the idea of putting a bigger engine in a smaller car, just like they did in the old muscle car days, and all the R&D that went into makes it the predcesor of the IS-F, we have today, that everyone wanted Lexus to make a BMW M3 fighter. Actually two IS430's were built, the other one in europe, a all black version. Lastly this car is famous for being featured in the tv show, "Rides", and the paint scheme is by Chip Foose, with Rod Millen Racing handling the engine and transmission swap.
