Why I always, if possible try to find a corner spot or one where their is an island/median so to reduce the number of tards who can park around me. Sucks that happened.

Well obviously his insurance is going to cover it, provided that the moron has insurance.

More fun stuff to see. Finally got a good picture. Won't know anything until the assessor comes out.

looks like you need new door. It will never be perfect if you repair it.

+1 Faymester, not sure about the driver or the Honda. I know the Honda would be ready for the clunker program

Insurance called and said just take it to the dealer's body shop and they'll handle the rest. I'm going to drop it off and let them go from there. We'll see how it turns out. I'm taking it to the dealer and they are connected to the dealer so it'll be done there instead of at a 2nd hand shop. That's gotta account for something.

my question is what did the person say when you confronted them about it right after it happened?

There's definitely a difference in Toyota and Lexus. Considering the price of Toyota these days I'd feel ripped off if I didn't go ahead and step to a Lexus for a mere $10k more (sometimes less!).
