hey rvalero i was actually doing some reaserch upon fidanzza flywheel and I came to the conclusion that I will be sacrificing torque for this flywheel. so I spoke to some gurus here at ottawa clutch and he recomended that he make me a stage 2 clutch. I just found out that there is a guy here that makes custom BULLY clutches. He told me to bring in my flywheel and he going to machine it and straiten it out. This set up is also a lot cheeper because I dont need to spend on flywheel. the clutch and kit for it is going to run me $700.00 cdn. have you installed your new clutch & flywheel yet? And I am thinking of doing the work myself!

The guy who is doing the install had an accident, and was out for about a month. Right now he is really busy. As soon as he gets some time, he'll get me in. I also just ordered FIGS rear control arms. I should be getting them in a few weeks. Good luck with your install!

I had a mini photo shoot with Strike's car at UCSD. I was practicing my low light shots. If you have suggestions and/or constructive criticism, I'd like to hear what you have to say.

One thing that really annoyed me was the glare/ghost (the 2nd pic in particular). I guess I could shorten the exposure time, and adjust the F stop accordingly, but I wanted to keep the background in focus (AV mode). I'm still learning, so go easy on me LOL.

Thanks. Strike has 19" VS-XX, and mine are 18". The only other exterior mod I want to do is a headlight retrofit. Black chrome w/ AP1 or E55 low beam projector. I haven't done much research on the subject, but I'd like to get it done some day.

Keep your eye on this thread for black chrome plating http://my.is/forums/f201/headlight-a...atings-407333/.

The process hasn't been perfected yet, but here's an example with Ti plating.

I wish I lived somewhere I could keep my car clean all year round. This is a great build. I love this car.

I guess I haven't updated this in a while, so here goes.

Tuned Parts Rigid Bars:

Karl-Sport short shifter (Think B&M but almost no whine):

Momo RaceAir Leather shift **** and shifter boot:

Swapped out my N1 for an L-Tuned exhaust:
Before

After

Custom Armrest:

Figs adjustable Mega Arms, endlinks, and toe links:

Sport Design head & fog lights, smoked side markers, DIY black pearl emblems, and spoiler brake light red-out:

Front-mounted camera:

Repainted brake calipers and rotor hats:

Figs hood props with LS struts and Figs battery tie down:

Painted engine bay covers and Figs clutch dampener delete:

...and I think that pretty much takes us to the present.

Never gets old looking at your pics. So clean Rey. What's your take on those rigid bars? Worth the purchase?

Thanks Josh. I didn't have wheel hop issues, so I guess I didn't really notice anything. However, they are good for 12 cool points and at least 5 man points haha.

How is your BO so clean! If/when you see my paint, it is in the complete opposite condition. I don't know how to do all of the detailing that I need to keep my paint looking like yours. You wouldn't want to detail mine by any chance would you? Looking good by the way!

The secret is regular maintenance once you get it in good condition. I haven't polished my car in over a year. I used to do it every 6mo. before I messed up my back. I try to wash my car weekly when it isn't raining, and wax about once ever 4-6 weeks. That may sound like a lot, but it's not too bad when you have a dual action buffer like the Porter Cable 7424 (or similar). I'm not polishing any more cars until I finally get mine done lol.
