I would assume that he means that it's sealed in such a way that water can't get between the car and the aero kit. If it wasn't sealed it would lead to problems down the line.

Congrats car looks VERY VERY nice.. I just sent this thread off to my little brother who is looking for an IS sometime soon he loves that colour you have on your car (Graphite Grey.. I think its called).. Any other plans for you ride??

PhatLexus2001...I spent $2,000, thats including kit, paint, and installation!! Didn't get it done by a bodyshop, a "new" friend that now have works out of his home for primering and fitting, and then he goes to his buddys bodyshop and pays him a small fee to let him use the equipment to paint. He does GREAT work!!! Got lucky and found him!!!
2SAVVY...other plans are 19" rims, Tanabe 3X bar (rear lower strut bar), front strut bar, sway bars, new rotors, RMM grill, RMM spoiler, Aluminum dash trim, and lastly I will be working on the system...I want a custom DVD/Nav system!!

I'm planning on getting 19" rims and that should raise the car a bit...so I'll just wait on putting the splitters on until after I get some rims!!
