Question Am i missing something here? vac line?

today on my.is a member posted a thread about their recent turbo install. i noticed on his first picture a connection or tube leading from the passenger side of the timing gear cover to the radiator.


on my 02 i dont have anything hooked up here....what am i missing?


here is another view(the drivers side also has the same port not hooked to anything

Nobody does. This exact thread was posted recently either here or My.IS... can't remember which. Either way nothing goes there. What are you missing? Nothing.

btw did you find a type r lip yet?

that's nothing to worry about. For the turbo, the person used it for the additional vacuum that the person needed.

that empty line in the timing cover was used for other cars that ran a vacuum line through there.

he used it for the blow off valve's vaccum source.
