Im not a huge internet person but I venture onto a couple other forums now and then and just stumbled across this one.

I own IS200 which I have swapped to a 2JZ a heap of other mods. 98% of the work was carried out my myself. I own an automotive shop in Sydney, Australia

Heres some pics of my car

Only the motor has been dyno'd (engine dyno to run it in) Will be getting it dyno'd within the coming weeks. On the engine dyno it made 1000hp (hence the name IS1000)@27 psi without the NOS. Will push it to 35psi. I will post the results as soon as I have them.

I run 19x8x235 on the front and 19x12x315 on the rear.

Car has just been put back together so I still have finishing touches before I run it. But I am hoping to break into the 8's

I assume with that rear end that straight is the only way you're laying down all that power. Was the only motivation for a solid axle to run 12" rims?

Thanks Rob. Sorting out brakes as we speak. Hope to dyno then run it within the next 2-3 weeks.

The motivation was to put the power to the ground, make the rear unbreakable and get as much traction as possible. I dont think anyone would go to all that hassle just to fit 12inch wheels on the rear the IS IRS is built for a luxury car not drag racing. The custom rear is also a fraction of the weight.
