thinking of purchasing an is.....but curious what is this box in the guage cluster.

 

i think that would be a valentine one radar detector. Notifies you of any nearby cops that are detecting speeds with there radar gun. Its a $300 piece of equipment. Tope of the line stuff too

 

i second that it looks like a valentine ... but i know that the valentine is supposed to have a clear view out the front [and theoretically also the back] window.

could b a turbo timer ... thats usually where the timers are installed

either way ... the box is probably a good thing

 

definitely valentine 1, maybe this is the remote unit? i believe on the actual unit the power is on the right side of the unit, but here in the pic it shows left side

and btw, valentine 1 new, it's 400 bucks

 

yeah that's definitely VALENTINE 1...that is pretty pricey man..
