I searched and could not find any links to remove the aux box in the center of the dasboard, does anyone have this knowledge?

 

Are you talking the location where the NAV should be?

#19? If so you should be able to pop off of the felt peice and find 2 screws under it, once those are removed the center section will pull slightly forward and out, vents and all.
