Does +40 offset if on a 01 IS?

Does +40 offset if on a 01 IS?
Will it fit on a IS with +40 offset? btw the size is 5x114.5, 17x9 +40

9 inch wide with a +40 offset will rub. you would need to shave the inside lip completely. To avoid shaving go with a +48 ~ 55 offset on a 9".

solo is right, that's a bad offset for the IS unless you do a lot to the fender

I run 18x8.5 +48 in the front and 18x9.5 +56 in the rear and it fits perfectly anything less on the offset and i would be screwed.
