Question

Since no one is talking, (guess you all just can't function with .net) Does the IS300 need premium gas? what octane is recomended?

I'd did a search and found nothing, sure I know it has probably been talked about 100 times before on .net, but hey, what are ya gonna do??

You're right. We've talked about it on .net a few times.
It seems that this board has very limited number of discussions in its database.
So, let's make up for it while .net is down.

IS300 requires octane number to be 91 or higher.
I always use Shell 93. Very rarely Sunoco 94, which seems to produce more power, but less gas mileage.

P.S.
scuba821, you're a cool rookie. Running a search and all.

I figured it would take 91 or higher, most v6 are starting to demand it(ie Nissan Maxima??). I think that it has to do with the higher compresion ratios these engines are using to pull the most power out they possibly can.

Thanks for the info.....
