Now the lock assembly is out of the way you can see how the camera will look installed.
Lipstick camera (ignore the silicone from previous install)
Fit the camera into the hole (should line up perfectly).
Now use a backplate of some sort (I used a piece of plastic) to secure the camera in place.
Once everything is lined up you can put the screw into the back of the camera to hold it in place.
Now you need to wire up the system. Run an RCA input into the monitor you are using and power up the camera (if you are using it just for reverse operations you can tap into the reverse light)
I have a question for you. How do you remove those fasteners that hold the inner trunk liner up? I was told by Lexus of Eugene that that is the way I had to go to replace my license plate lights....

Single shot
Get a panel fork from auto zone or just pull it off.
Thanks for the info. I replaced the license plate lights with PIAA LED push'in's this evening. I don't think they produce as much lighting for the plate as the OEM ones, but the are better than the yellowish incandescent bulb.
Hey LCA, what brand of lipstick cam did you use? Did it fit in the hole snugly? I assume so because all you had to do was secure it with that piece of plastic.
