My father has a IS300 and it's great, i love driving it more then he does. It's modest power it perfect for a little fun around town. The interior is just a dream. I want to modify it slightly just a little things here and there. I was just wondering if there is any "homeade" things you can do without purchasing something big. Im planing to get him an Injen cold air intake soon, but not till Xmas most likely. Is there anything i can do to the intake for now to get that smooth sound or more air coming in? thanks
The one thing I would say is get a drop in air filter but since yor are getting an Injen in 6 months that is out. Anything you do for power requires a little work and $$$. Nothing that fits your definition though. Troll around here and over at is300.net and see what you like, Good luck.
thanks, i guess your right with spending a little money, but the drop in air filter.....i was looking at it and it's a regualar square filter, if i were to get a cone filter, and wanted to leave the box on, would it fit? and also i was looking at the TRD square filters, they are $65. Would it be worth it to get one of those? then maybe i wouldn't have to get the injen maybe save money for somthin else, im not trying to mod this car out like crazy, but it's nice to have little things here and there.
