Looking for an IS... 01's and 02's, Just wondering how i can tell if it has an LSD?
Also the 01's dont come w/ armrest and the OEM 1 is kinda expensive. I heard they make an aftermarket leather one. But i havnt seen any pics... Anyone got pics?

Transmission code = W55 (Manual Transmission)
differential (with LSD) = B01B ('02-'03 models with 5MT)
B02C ('01 e-shift)
no LSD = B02A

As for the aftermarket armrest, there's a company that makes one. Carson Toyota Lexus Parts sells it. Just give them a call 800-90-TOYOTA and ask for Bobby in parts. You can find some pics of this aftermarket armrest on .net or in the CL gallery.

 

BTW, this info is found on the vehicle manufacturer's sticker on the driver's side B-pillar.

 

Well i know now im gunna get a 2002... Im going to look at a Charcoal grey one w/ 32k miles...fully loaded except nav for $22k o.b.o... isnt that a good deal?

I was wondering if they come w/ HID's?

 

They're standard equipment on 01 and up.
