Default lsportline front bumper installation help

I tried test fitting my lsportline front bumper cover today before I go drop it off at the body shop. Everything is going fine, I am able to remove the stock front bumper cover without any problems. When I try to install the lsportline front, it seems too small and will not fit properly. I can get one side to line up, but the other side is too hard to do, no matter how much I force it. I didn't remove the metal bumper reinforcement b/c I have never heard of anyone saying they had to remove it. I did take off the styrofoam. After trying to force the lsportline front on, I gave up and put the stock front on.

I was wondering if anyone had any problems, putting on their front bumper. If anyone has any experience w/ this front, let me know if there is anything I should be doing while installing the front. I've installed many body kits on different cars, but this is the first time i've had a major problem w/ fitment.

i can tell you for sure lsportline kits has serious fitment problem on the car, that's for sure. rmmgs4 and i spent tons of hours on the kit to fit, pulling and pushing, drilling and filling.

you need a good body shop to fit the thing on the car

No, not a fun install on my wife's car at all.

Check out pics of the work I did here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...5&pagenumber=7

Did you remove the bumper clips at the top of the metal crash bar? There are two on each side under the headlights. The Sportline interferes with these clips so just take them out.

Let us know if that fixes your problem.
