Feedback wanted and appreciated.
Hello to all,
I'm new here and reaching out to you all. I have always wanted to own a first generation Lexus IS300. I'm not new to the Toyota/Lexus world as having owned many and wrenched on them as well. That said I'm new to the first gen when it comes to the inside out scoop.
What this post is about is getting your thoughts on a car that I'm currently planning on making a trip to purchase. So far all questions have been answered very openly and (hopefully) honest by the current owner. My gut has not acted up, so that's a good sign the mind and gut are in sync so far.
Here is the for sale link to the car: 2001 lexus is300 for sale by owner - Greeley, CO - craigslist
To you current owners and past owners. I would be grateful to here anything from you concerning the car. Thoughts, tips, pointers, bolo's...anything. The more the better, I'm a sponge waiting to soak up your valuable knowledge.
I plan on flying to Denver and visually confirming the previous photos that had been sent to me of the car and getting a little seat time before I hand over my money and putting her on a trailer for the long drive back to my state. Thank you for reading, I look forward to hearing from you, cheers!

Well, I can't see any of your text in the above post because it's all white; it must've been copied & pasted funny. So, I quote it here with the right color so others can see the post. (I already responded on the other forum.)

Looks like a good car! $6500 may sound like a lot for a car that’s over 20 years old but a cheaper one with issues will definitely cost you more. Just make sure it hasn’t been any major accidents or needs any major repairs, which it shouldn’t and then when you get it home you can take a little time and do all the usual things that they need, lower ball joints, leaking power steering pumps, old suspension bushings etc. things that always need to be done on this generation Lexus. If you any questions when you get there, you can always post them up here with “hep” in the title and you’ll get some quick answers
