Toyotafest is unofficially one of the biggest Filipino & Toyota car gatherings out there. It should be called Pinoyfest instead. LOL

i just went to TORC,, last March or April

I'm not really fluent in Tagalog but I can pretty much understand it if it's being spoken to me.

 

I am Cebuano and can speak Cebuano (obviously) and Tagalog. I can understand Ilonggo (from my mom's side) and a little bit of Kapampangan (wife's family originally from Pampanga). I can also speak a little bit of Nihongo...lived in Japan for a couple of years and have been working for a Japanese company for many years now.

I really should go to one of those meets in Norcal.

my tagalog sucks. understand it but butcher it when i speak it (like a lot of first gen kids (born here)).

Flipside909 (ryan) and I were some of the first to drive the NEW IS (250/350) in So Cal.
havent been to a meet in years.

I can somewhat speak tagalog, understand it pretty well, and can't write/type it at all. LOL I'm a transplant... born in Quezon City, but pretty much been in SoCal since I was 5! Been on CL since, wow... 03-18-01. Yes, this is my 1st post on CL in a very long time though. Thanks to my pares (FLIPSIDE909, V8Aristo, RMMGS4) for always keeping me notified of all the CL happenings!

 

Yep Arnel is awesome....wish I could go to his concert here in the Bay Area.
