300h One or Two Electric Motors?
I searched but could find an answer.
The sales brochure states all 2022 300h models have two electric motors.
Some write ups state one and a few state two.
Diagrams of the power train imply one.
Attached the section from the sales brochure.

two motors in one drive unit. same as all the hybrids since the original prius. same as both my CT200hs and both my ES300hs and my prius for a grand total of 5 hybrids for me!

My wife and I are new to the hybrid world.
She bought a 2022 NX 350h last December and we really enjoy it, so much so, I traded my 2018 ES 350 in for 2022 ES 300h luxury.
Both are getting amazing mileage.

Two motors.... but
There are two motors in the 300h. With that being said, only one of them provides power to the drivetrain. the second motor in the ECVT spins to give the "CVT" function to the gears attached to the gasoline engine, and provides the starting rotation, and power generation from the engine.

For all intents and purposes, it's sort of just one motor "unit" but with two motors within the unit with different purposes.
Some of the AWD hybrids have multiple motor units, separate for the front and rear. They keep it simpler for FWD which IMO, is a good thing. Separate motors for each wheel or something like that would just add complications and more potential for failures.

So you truly followed the Toyota Hybrid Technology through its entire evolution.
How does the 2021 compare the 2018?
