Transmission oil pump
Hi all, I recently acquired a supposedly broken transmission oil pump from an early 3rd gen GS450H. I want to rebuild it to have it ready for in case mine ever fails. I can swap it in easily, and then rebuild the one from my car too. However, I discovered that there was a revision of the pump and there are two part numbers:
35300-30030 - (09/2007 - 01/2009)35300-30031 - (01/2009 - 05/2010)
Does anyone know what exactly was changed, and if both suffer from the same bearing failure at high mileage? I know that elsewhere on forums there are part numbers for the bearings, but I wonder if the same bearings were used on the revised pump?
I'm on 120k, and the ATF was just changed now, probably for the first ever time.
I did an initial opening of the pump, but I think I opened the wrong end, and the bearings are actually inside the black motor housing, however, I did find some residue from the shaft seal looking thing at this end. Does anyone have a part number for that seal too? (see pics)

Other side of the pump showing the rubber that goes around the output shaft, and its black filings of rubber
Pump gears? that sit on the end of the output shaft
