How do I gain the same access to the App as the "Primary" Driver? One of the LX Tech employees said all I need to do was use my wife's pin (primary) under my "secondary" profile to gain the same access - it did not work. I have no remote start and no access to all the features of the "primary" and its driving me crazy! Anyone know how to do this?

 

I created a similar thread last week about the same issue.

Others have posted it is not yet supported for two phone to have full control with the Lexus app. With the new NX and LX you need to scan the QR code which ties the application to the car. For my older 2018 GS, you only need a VIN to add to other phones, so until Lexus/Toyota updates the software to support this I think we are out of luck.

 

Just to clarify, can you not simply log in with the same account on both devices? That way both devices have the same access?

 

Yes, that's the only way. Your personal settings still remain attached to your linked key. The Primary will get an alert and will need to accept you for remote start but it works...Now we both get alerts and both have full function.
