how long did they estimate your wait will be for the 350?
Sales chap said I'm looking at a~4 month wait... So sometime at the start of summer.
I'm hoping I get it then because I'm in Vancouver but planning a trip to Seattle and Portland at the end of July into August with the family.
My wife is also waiting for her 2022 Toyota Sienna but not sure which would come first. When the time comes we'd decide which of the cars gets to go on the trip😜
I am a huge fan of PHEVs and the NX450h+ is my 3rd. If Lexus didn’t build one then I wouldn’t have any NX. I’d have kept my old PHEV or shopped a different brand.
No question any trim of the NX is very nice and Lexus did a great job but I value the PHEV so much that it is a must have.
For me it wasn’t between 350h vs 450h. It was between Lexus PHEV and other brand PHEVs. And in that comparison the 450h+ is very competitive. Best in class or very competitive EV range, infotainment, interior quality, exterior design, driving, reliability…

The NX 350H is a great car - but it very different than the NX 450h+. The NX450H+ is the transition vehicle to the future. There are several articles of electric cars reducing driving range by 40-60% in the winter. For me the first week I drove my 450h+ the engine came on for 15 minutes - that was it. But this weekend I did a 300 Mile drive in 5 F and I was glad I had an engine.
The 350 is a great car - much better then a typical SUV - but it is not possible to run without the motor - and for me in 2022 that was a deal breaker. I would have bought a RAV4 PRIME over the 350H.
Here in Toronto, I was told the 350H if you order now is about April delivery but the 450H+ (which is quite a bit more expensive) is closer to a year plus longer.
I have a 350H which is supposed to arrive end of Feb to mid March. Let's hope.
Hello,
We are trying to decide on our next car. Tesla Y is too rough for me, makes me carsick and will be sold. RX350 is too big for us however, with acceptable ride.
My ideal car is ES350 because it is so smooth but my wife wants an SUV so NX may work for both of us. I wanted a hybrid because it generally provides a smoother ride and should have extra sound deadening due to slightly louder 4 cyl gasoline engine. Now plug in should make for even quieter ride in EV mode. How much extra weight of 450 battery effects the ride given extra horse power?
I wanted the 450h but in this new car market it was impossible to buy and priced at $65K + which was just too much of a premium over the 350h I bought for ~$47K
Just got word that the NX450h will not be available in Colorado this year. Guess the rumors were correct, limited production mostly going to the west coast. So much for a PHEV tax credit. I found one NX350/h in the entire state, (if it's still available).

Performance Lexus in St. Catharines has a 450H+ FSport 3 in their showroom. But it's listed @ $80,950.00! If you really want one, go for it. Way to rich for me.
The NX is already poor value compared to the RX. At the RRP of the 450h, I would go with the Rx450h even though it’s technically an older car, but more luxurious and roomier.

IMHO the NX is much better than the RX. Your opinion may vary.

Looks like there is some dealer installed options in the vehicle.
That 450h+ should be their test drive vehicle and not for sale.

my local dealer in Los Angeles are taking orders for the NX450h but salesperson said the waitlist now will be over 1 year, so the people ordering now will be getting a 2023 in over a year.

YMMV,

depends on what one wants . I got to test drive a new non hybrid NX. Its technologically way ahead of the RX if that is what someone wants. Getting to Tesla level of tech
RX is more old school but is a comfortable luxurious ride.
