City Driving MPG
The range isn’t the range until the car runs out of petrol. It’s to when the low fuel light lights up. Which to my estimate, is about 14 litres still in the tank.
I find the range estimate to be very off on all the Lexus I have owned! Quite useless really.

I rarely get less than 32-33 mpg in stop-n-go city driving in Normal drive mode, which is about 12% more than the EPA rating of 29 mpg for city driving. Most of the time I get even better fuel mileage. This has surprised me.
Today I drove 15 miles in stop-n-go city traffic in Normal drive mode for almost 30 minutes averaging only about 30 mph and got 34.1 mpg. This is great fuel mileage and I'm very happy with it, but it confuses me. I took this picture (below) when I arrived back home.
I was definitely not soft pedaling the throttle. Why am I getting 15% more than the 29 mpg EPA rating, which is usually the maximum one can expect to get?
