Do we have a Customize drive mode? Thought there were 4, Eco, Normal, Sport, and Sport+. Mine is a 2013 though so maybe later models have some custom features.
Hues10 - I don't know when Lexus added the Customized Mode. At least on my 2018 GS 450h the Customized Drive Mode is accessed by pressing the Normal Mode switch a 2nd time.
Normal Mode/Customized Mode:
Normal mode and customized mode are selected by pressing the driving
mode select switch. Each time the switch is pressed, the driving mode
changes between normal mode and customized mode. When customized
mode is selected, the “Customize” or “CUSTOMIZE” indicator will be illuminated.
11186492[/url]]Does anyone have the 'Customize' Drive Mode setup and used regularly? If so, I'm curious to know what your customized setup is. Please share...
I presume if the 'Customize' Drive Mode has not been setup there is no difference between it and 'Normal' Drive Mode, correct?
I set mine up and use it pretty regularly. Have Suspension in normal mode and drivetrain in sport +. When driving on the freeway I switch to eco. I know it’s been debated around here, and I don’t think a consensus was ever arrived at, But to me it’s pretty clear that eco is a softer suspension set up than normal. The ride at freeway speed is noticeably better. So I’m basically either in Eco mode while driving on the freeway or my custom mode when driving everywhere else.
Imho, it would have been more useful if instead of a "Customized" drive Mode, Lexus allowed you to set a "Default" drive mode. I've read about some folks that immediately after starting their car, they change the drive mode to their preferred option, so this would be beneficial for those that want to drive in a certain mode right away.
