Default Brake squeak - help

2013 RX 450h (110k miles).

Developed a light squeak toward right front when brake is applied but not all the time and would do this sitting stationary as well as moving. (E.g., you can pump the brake and but not always hear it on first pump... it may be 2nd or 3rd...) Its a pretty quick squeak but noticeable. I had a local shop look at it and they thought it was some brakr linkage and greased it. After a week or so it was still there.

They then put the car on a lift and determined it was coming from the right front brake hose but could not really explain why so they replaced the hose. They thought it corrected it but when I picked it up it was still there (they refunded my money and told me best to have Lexus look at it). They said the hybrid seems to have a more complicated braking system, and mentioned some "box" the hose may connect to (that is probably expensive) but they were not sure if that is culprit. It is not a safety issue, etc. but just a bit annoying and I may sell the car so want it fixed. They checked brakes, suspension, etc. and all is fine.

I know its not much to go on but any thoughts?

If you are going to sell the car then do not invest any more money or time in attempting to fix this minor squeak. If asked you can tell the potential buyer what you did to attempt to resolve it and that the professional technicians think it is minor.
Or take it to Lexus and find out how expensive it is to replace your regenerative braking stuff.

If it sounds like a barking seal then that's an issue some of these cars have. It's expensive to fix, though Lexus may offer you a big discount.

It could be. Lol. It's rather quick and the car doesn't have to be moving or on. And random.
What issue could it be?

I am due for an oil change soon and I know the dealer will notice. But want to be informed ahead of time.

Did find an older thread and mp3 sound file from a 2010 that sounds like mine. He said the dealer told him it was an actuator. Lucky he got it replaced under warranty. I'll see what dealer says but probably leave it..

Just received mail from Lexus about a possible issue with the Brake Booster and Brake Booster Pump assemblies. They say only to take the car in if any of certain lights are on. None come on in mine but wonder is my occasional squeel is related. Guess I'll call them to ask also.

Thoughts?

I'm glad that Lexus is doing this. I understand it's a pretty common issue.

Apparently the dealer said my VIN is not on the list (not sure why they mailed me the forms as my VIN was on the form Lexus sent also).... and the occasional noise could be dirt. Ha. Maybe next oil change I'll ask them to listen, if it occurs
