I have a 2015 lexus es 300h. I recently had an auto theft and then the vehicle was recovered. It was in an accident based on the pictures do you think the car is totaled. A little about the vehicle it is a 2015 with 123899 miles on it. The interior is not in the best condition.
Totaled. To repair that requires extensive disassembly, drilling out welds, replacing a pile of parts including body, engine parts, electrical and probably suspension.
Considering the age of the car, the mileage, and the extensive amount of damage, I feel very confident in guessing the cost of repairing the damage would exceed, by far, the threshold for declaring the car to be totaled.
It doesn't matter what anybody other than the insurance company thinks regarding whether or not it's totaled, but it looks totaled to me as some of the uni-body frame structure appears to be crunched.
