Default Gen 3 vs Gen 4 Hybrid - Any difference

Is Gen 4 hybrid smoother than Gen 3 or are they about the same?
Any difference in ride and handling?

I've owned both. I feel that the Gen 4 gets marginally better mileage. I really don't think I can say there is a noticeable difference in the ride and handling.

I sold my 2012 to my inlaw when I bought my 2019. My 2019 feels stronger and more responsive. Even after owning it for nearly 2 years, it still surprises me a bit with the instant pull whenever I need to do a quick pass. It is also definitely quieter, and seems more plush (my 2012 had 19" tires and the 2019 has 20"). And my average MPG is 31.2 in the 2019, compared to 29.5 in the 2012. Basically the Gen4 is better than Gen3 in every way, except perhaps the remote touch joystick. I prefer the way it operates in the Gen3.
