Please help! LS600lh just died
I've searched the forums but can't find an answer to my question.
I have owned my LS600hl for a week. Today I accelerated hard, in sport mode, and the pretty much "blew up" on me. It seemed to run rough for a couple of seconds, then the "Check Hybrid System" message came up, the "!" alert light, as did another message saying something like "Stop as soon as it is safe to do so and contact dealer". Maybe some more messages too. I think I smelled burning electrics too.
I was 3 miles from home, at night, so I limped home. I noticed the engine rpm was at least 4000 to do so.
The main hybrid battery was replaced 3 years ago.
I would be very grateful for any suggestions as to where to look or what to do. I CAN just take it to the dealer and give them a blank check - but I'd sure prefer not to have to do that
I'm hoping there are cheaper, more sensible options.
Till now, this has been, for a whole week, the best car I ever owned!
All replies or tips appreciated.

Hi Ive got the same car and similar thing happened to me aa few weeks ago. It was my 12v battery in the trunk. I suggest you run a charge on this taking the earth lead off first or a jump start and you might just find the lights go out.
I hope this is it Good Luck
