Since Lithium Ion batteries are smaller & lighter than Nickel Hydride and store more energy, I would have thought the vehicle weight would be lower and the EPA fuel economy figures would be higher for the 2021 than the 2020. Since I am no engineer, my thoughts are obviously wrong since the specs show identical EPA numbers and slightly more weight for the 2021. Education please.
