I've had mine for quite some time now since my original post. Its made the RX450h's take off feel more spritely on the first setting, which is the "Sport" mode. The other modes, "Sport Plus" and "Race" mode make the RX450h seem so unruly, way too sensitive to even mild throttle input.

 

i'm thinking about ordering one.kinda hard to find one for this model.now that i know the brand and model,i'll take the plunge.thanks

 

It has several modes like Sport, Sport+, Race, Normal, Econ, and i-Auto, but they do not descript it very clear. It feels like Sport : +10%, Sport+ : +20%. But not exactly like that. It's not linear correlation. At first I like Sport or Sport+ mode, but after trying i-Auto several days, I think i-Auto is exactly what I want. i-Auto mode acted smooth when I pressed on the accelerator pedal 10% or 20%, but if I pressed harder, the power came out very quickly. Overall I am very satisfied with it, it bring my vehicle's 290 hp back.

 

I wouldn’t trust my life with these products. A malfunction could easily send your car to oncoming traffic. There’s like triple fail safe systems in sensing the Accelerator position signals and you go introduce an Alibaba device that doesn’t have that.

Does anyone has an idea how to have the car stay in sport mode similarly to staying in Eco mode? Or how to immediately invoke sport mode? Is there a relay or other wiring that could be modified?

FOR ANYONE INTERESTED; I installed a Hikeit X9 in my right hand drive 2012 RX450h, no problems with space over the accelerator peddle.
Makes the drive much more enjoyable, I would recommend the mod to anyone and takes about 10 minutes
