New RX 450h owner. Code P0A80 question

So according to the Lexus Service records, I came upon this:
'Found internal failure in battery P0A80 Replace battery, Partial goodwill by Lexus for an out of warranty concern.'
Could someone explain if this meant the hybrid battery was replaced?
